Herbert Anthony Sullivan entered into Eternal Rest July 2, 2008. He was a native of Savannah, Georgia born on August 6, 1926. He was an Insurance Investigator for Equifax Corporation for 32 years. He enjoyed poetic writing, boating, fishing, and camping. One of his greatest enjoyments was camping and shrimping with Carl. His love was his wife, his daughters, family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 58 years, Uleta Pete Denmark Sullivan of Savannah; Children: Paula Sullivan Phillips and her husband, Gary Allen Phillips of Summerville, SC; Leta Sullivan Carter and her husband, Carl Wayne Carter of Savannah; Grandchildren: Shelley Weinzettel Kirk and her husband Wesley Amos Kirk of Covington, GA: Christy Weinzettel Glenn and her husband Lee Scales Glenn of Greenville, SC; Matthew Sullivan Jacobson of Plantation, FL; Thomas Anthony Carter of Savannah; Great-Grandchild Clara Lee Glenn of Greenville, SC; Step-Grandchildren: Michelle Louise Carter of Savannah; Katie Marie Phillips of Varnville, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sheila Lynn Sullivan, his parents, and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 5th from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Hodgson Chapel.
